Saturday in Costa Rica, as part of the Concacaf 2017 Championship, qualifying for the FIFA World Cup whose final round will take place in the Republic of South Korea from 20 May to 17 June, our U-20 Grenadiers for their first group match crushed St Kitts & Nevis [5-1] at Stadio Ricardo Saprissa Ayama.
Jimmy Shammar Sanon (Montreal Impact - Canada) opened the scoring at 5 '[1-0], Brian Chevreuil (Chateauroux - France) doubled the score [2-0] in the 24th minute, at halftime, the score is unchanged [2-0] in favor of Haiti.
Alessandro Campoy (Chateauroux - France) increased the score at 48 '[3-0], a score quickly reduced a few minutes later by a goal to the 58' from Javier Sutton of St. Kitts & Nevis [ 3-1] Jonel Désiré (ASC - Haiti) scored one goal in the 86' [4-1] efore Ronaldo Damus (Real Hope - Haiti) scored a final goal [5-1] in extra time (90' + 4).
A good start for our U-20 national team who will face the United States on Tuesday 21 February in their next match.
